The Love and Torment is a new project.

I have been listening to a lot of relatively obscure new wave/futurist songs from the early 1980s recently and this song and concept has been influenced by music from this period and also a long lost relative. I felt this song did not sit comfortably in the Claustraphobia/Klaus Devore style hence opting for a different moniker on this occasion - The Love and Torment. With this song I wanted to capture the romantic and yet melancholic sound of the early 1980s.
